Sumberawan Temple is unique due to its location on a highland, near the foot of Mount Arjuno. The calm atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery make it a special place. One of the interesting characteristics of Sumberawan Temple is the presence of a spring nearby, which may be the reason why the temple was named 'Sumberawan' (from the word 'sumber' meaning spring).
